Leading comes in many forms. Whether it’s in the community, the workplace, or even with outside interests, Megan finds a way to showcase her expertise and knowledge, while assisting others along the way.
Higher Education Leader
Megan serves as the Assistant Director of the Doctorate in Community College Leadership program at Ferris State University. In this role, she oversees and manages the operation of the program, which includes over 100 graduates and four active cohorts of students. She also is a member of various committees and groups across campus, working to be innovative in the ever-changing world of higher education.
Social Media Consultant
With a Masters Degree in Educational Technology, Megan has been involved in social media for years. Along with creating and maintaining multiple websites and blogs, she has vast experience in creating, growing, and maintaining social media platforms both personally and professionally. The past few years, she has trained over 100 colleagues on successful marketing techniques through webinars and face-to-face sessions.
For over three years, Megan has served as the committee chair for the Wheatlake Festival of Races. She led the process of adding a half marathon, and most recently, a 10K, to the race day. Along with the smiles of the hundreds of participants, Megan has enjoyed helping raise tens of thousands of dollars for the local Susan P. Wheatlake Regional Cancer Center.
